Snow snow snow

Well happy snow day everyone!!

Finally we have gotten our first real snow storm that has covered almost the entire state of Maine with some now and now ice!
Down in Portland we got around 5" of snow but turned to freezing rain tonight. The mountains are predicted to get 16-30"....can anyone say POWDER!!! I am very jealous of all the people up on the mountains today and that will be going tomorrow as my pass has not come in yet :(

I hope this snow will stay on the ground through the holidays as this beautiful white snow makes Christmas so much more real...and getting even more real as it is only 8 days away and I have done no shopping...oops!!
Christmas day approaching also means only 9 days until Seacoast Snow park opens!! I took this picture on Saturday (before the storm) from up on the sending zip line tower...getting excited about sending people down this very soon!! This weekend we were thankful for the cold weather as we were finally able to make more snow!

Be sure to go on http://skimaine.com/conditions/alpine/ for updated info on all the snow the mountains are getting!

If you need any gift ideas....give the gift of skiing or snowboarding!

Regards,
Maggy
